At 1st Dental we believe there will always be a need for metal ceramics because of their exceptional masking properties and their favourable wear characteristics, typically used in destructive occlusal scenarios, or where there is limited space the metal can be reduced to 0.5mm, they can be thinned down to 0.2mm to accommodate the opposing dentition without any loss of strength.
In addition a new generation of technologies has been developed to help meet new market demands, bringing with them benefits to patients and clinicians, producing high quality, long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing crowns and bridges that are also highly accurate.

1st Dental in partnership with Renishaw plc bring you CAD/CAM designed cobalt chrome frameworks ensuring precise fit and optimising chair time for your patients thereby reducing costs for you.
All of our non precious frameworks are manufactured in the UK and come with a 10 year warranty providing you and your patients with peace of mind. The direct metal laser sintering (dmls) manufacturing process uses medical grade Cr/Co in powder form and is nickel, beryllium and cadmium free. Simply request for Laser PFM™ on your lab ticket.
